BMW Car Club to play with the big dogs

The BMW CCG Club Racing Series claims to be the most exciting grass roots Motorsport series in South Africa. Now in its third year, the series has benefited from exponential growth and increasing attention from the Motorsport fraternity.

MSA Super Series, South Africa’s only National Motorsport Tour has invited them to step up into the big leagues and show what they are made of.

BMW CCG Club Racing Series Steward Michael Broom says “We are thrilled at the opportunity we have been given by MSA Super Series. At Phakisa we hope to show that we possess the qualities that made South African Motorsport so appealing in its heyday- a large field of cars, friendly competition, raw racecraft and minimal contact. Everyone in our series is excited about the prospect of rubbing shoulders with South African greats who take part in the various Super Series categories, drivers we have watched and admired on TV and at the track for many years”

“While we are responsible for hosting national categories, MSA Super Series have been interested and keen to host invitational categories in 2013 and it is a formula that works. Fans get more bang for their buck by seeing something new on circuit, and the invitational categories relish the opportunity to compete at this level” says MSA Super Series Manager Ken Rolfe.
