BMW brake pads

I have fitted ATE Disks and Ferodo Pads....


With everybody talking of ATE, Textar, Jurid, Bendix and other brands... its funny that nobody mentioned Ferodos.. cos theyre actually quite good.

I got my ATE's from Midas about 2 weeks back. Was about R550 for a set of front pads for my 330i. Disks and pads all round came to R2600 including 2 sensors and some copper slip, agents quoted R6600 just for disks and pads excl fitment. No complaints so far.

are e90 pads much more than e46? If not maybe midas is a better bet...

I bought rear Textar pads for around R 450.

ATE is the OEM braking system used on the E90's.

You can get EBC optimo front pads for around R 500 from Star brake and clutch in Edenvale.

I bought my ATE disc and EDC pads from them.

My prices are for e90 front pads if price is bad let me know then i will ether discuss with my supplier for better price or not sell this product...

I cant really comment I have 0 experience with both :rollsmile:
I am currently running EBC redstuff pads on my car Im pretty happy with them but for i know Ulitmax is rubbish...

I am inclined to say I would go with the Textar but that just because BMW uses them...

we are talking about saving a few hundred rand on something that lasts a very long time for me price is not nearly as important on this part as how it works...
