BMW Brake discs sale

Walked into Joburg Auto City BMW with a R5200 budget to buy front and rear brake discs for my 2010 320i (E90) only to pay R3163.98. That's R2000 in savings. I've pasted the invoice below.

Hi everyone,

Yes BMWSA been able to do something about some of the brakes pricing, some of it may be due to local suppliers so it does definitely helps with the costs. There are also some other parts which they have been able to reduce the price on, some clutch's, dampers and so on. Micro filters have come down but still pricey, need to check. If you follow my posts of the reduced pricing you would see there has been a difference. Some discs have almost halved in price which helps a lot. So when you get quoted ask them to check if they are quoting on the parts basket, these are were they have worked on the prices, make sure you have the vin when you call or go in.

Thomas M discs are not on special and as a matter of fact it is seldom that M components go on special.

Haha, meant it more as a joke than anything. You can't foresee the future, no use being sad about missed opportunities that arise after you've acted has always been my life view.

If we all acted like that then everyone here should be sad they didn't sink a few grand into APPL in the 90s!!!

:)
