A bunch of friends and myself who couldn't make the Airforce photoshoot decided to just mess around and have our photo shoot this Sunday. The planning began in the week, and it quickly decided that instead of have a meet and photoshoot, it would be better to turn it into something worth while.
As owners of bmw or any any cars, I myself often take the luxuries we have for granted, and the biggest is the four walls that block out most of the winter chill. It was thus decided that a small blanket drive for the homeless on fordsburg should be our priority. We met at 8.30 am and head two to different places to hand the blankets out to less fortunate. It's Only when doing this with your own hands, dp you realise the plight of our people. Despite collecting a decent amount of blankets for our small group of buddies, we were overwhelmed to see how many people were in need.
Once the blankets were done, we still had quite a lot of people standing there with empty hands. Hamza kaka ' big heart once again come to the fore, and he went off and bought 35 loafs of bread which was also handed out to the remaining guys waiting.
This was then followed by a chilled out cup of coffee at camaro crossing.
While this was not an OFFICIAL FANATICS event, it was attended by only fanatics buddies and it warms my heart to see the big hearts we have out there. It really made me proud to see guys from various walks of life, with a common passion for the brand, come through and share their passion to help others. Fanatics FTW. We discussed that should become something bigger, focused on the homeless.
After today, I cannot wait for the annual Bmw Fanatics charity event to take place.
