BMW badges

Sorry guys but I just have to ask this question....

Why the hell do people loving stealing the Bonnet badges?:argh:

My E46 looks horrid, they stole my bonnet badge and they broke my RHS kidney grille....

Im not sure if BMW has a team of people to do it cause the badges cost like R600.

Ive met several people that have asked me what happened and they have either experienced it or knows someone that has been through to it

Has happened to me before, sort of. They just peeled off the badge and left the silver plate.

Because they add 15kw... Luckily I haven't experienced this yet, touch wood:flyfun:

I wouldn't make it harder for them to steal by gluing them or using silicone, because then they'll damage the paint even more by using more force prying it off.

My car is de-badged as well, but I lost mine after driving behind a truck and i suspect a stone hit it and it peeled.

It happened to me yesterday in Durban :argh:

They peeled the badge off and left the backing plate behind :bangdesk:

Stealers have them for R640 :flyfun:
