BMW ATF 2 Oil Equivalent

Good day,

I am looking for an equivalent BMW AFT 2 Oil for my E90 320i 2007 Sedan. The part number I got from BMW was the F 83 22 2 305 396. When looking at my local shops for such oil. They have many AFT oils but I can't seem to find an equivalent. Does anyone know if Shell Spirax S2 ATF D2 & Castrol ATF Dex II Multivehicle would work? My engine type is a N46B20O1. Please kindly advise and assist. Much appreciated. Thank you.

ATF Cap under the bonnet. So power steering fluid. But it would beneficial to know the gearbox/transmission oil as well. Thanks.

I've done a power steering fluid flush on my E90 about a year ago and used liqui moly top tec ATF 1100. Got it from Goldwagon.

Ok, thank you. Does this ATF oil work with petrol BMWs? I see your E90 looks like the diesel model. The Top Tec ATF oil is Dex 3, would it be compatible w/ Dex II? I am running the 2007 320i E90.

I'm not sure if Dex ll is compatible with Dex 3. I have no issues thus far.

You looking for power steering or gearbox use? The grades are backwards compatible for ease of use.

I am currently looking for power steering oil. I think I may need CHF 11s.

Update: I used my VIN number and found that the Liqui Moly Central Hydraulic System Oil works best with my car. Power steering is smooth.
