BMW Assembly Plant Rosslyn Tour - 2015

Hi Everyone

This is something any and every BMW owner should attend at least once in their lifetime.

After taking my dad there a while back I thought it fitting to have a Fanatics convoy to Rosslyn and then spending the morning there admiring the fine machinery and magic that conspires behind closed doors, followed by another convoy home.

So this is the proposed plan.

They do however limit group sizes to around 20 persons. So this will be a first come first served basis.

Only your basic information is required, and your ID will have to be on your person on the day of the tour.

We will also post a list of confirmed names on this thread just to get an indication of attendees, so we can go ahead with the booking. I will contact BMW with our current list of names at the time (or capped at 20 whichever comes first)

Any further updates will be posted on this thread and this post will be updated as well.

This is how I propose the day unfolds.

The members will meet at Plant Rosslyn at 0830 SHARP for sign in and the course starts at 0900. Either by driving on your own or you can join the convoy at 0700. Convoy location provisionally will be the Shell Ultra City Midrand And from here it is 60kms following the highways only (avoiding central pretoria) for ease of keeping the convoy together.

If you are late you will have to meet us there.

I'm not posting directions as everyone has a smart phone nowadays and gps is readily available. Also the lead car will know the way Don't be late and you will get there.

*Another note to add, depending on the day of the week the convoy location might change.

There is a chance of us meeting at Leo Haese BMW and forming a convoy with them to the Plant. Details on this to follow closer to time.
