I guess this could explain why, when I was at the Nurburgring in July last year there were a bunch of important looking Japanese guys being taken around The Ring in the BMW Advanced Driving clad M3's & M5's before the track was open for tourist drives. They were alternating drivers between the Japanese & BMW Drivers...

try this:

In a safe area, apply brakes moderately from 100kph to 50kph and then drive approximately 500m to allow the brakes to cool. Repeat this procedure approximately 10-30 times.
