I would really like Michelin on those rims, but I think they are the Bridgestone S001 supplied. Will chat to my dealer. My dealer says no aftermarket rims

Hey Guys,

I changed my rims on my E92 335 and F30 without any issue from the dealership. I even used non runflats tyres with no issues.

Just be weary that the aftermarket rims may not handle the hard runflat tyre well. I had M6 aftermarket rims on my E92 335, with pirelli runflats.
The rims started cracking due to our poor road conditions and the hard run flats.

This particular dealer obviously doesn't like the fact that you are gonna spend the money elsewhere, and not buying it from them. Tell them you will find another dealer to service your car, and take your future business elsewhere if they don't at least consider it. I know I would.:RedNo:

This does not happen to after market rims only with run flats, even the OE BMW rims crack which come with the car and run flat tyres, however I do not know if this happened to this guy because he kept going after the run flat went flat or not.

I guess if you keep going at the same speed after the run flat loses air you should expect a cracked rim to be the consequence of that action.
