Busy checking on their website now. Grant, where did you get the date information from? Or did they mail you? I just want to know the costs (double checking that what they are indicating on their website will be the same as here).

I'm up for it Dax,definitely!

I know 2 of the Instructors very well. Got them on Facebook, Whatsapp and Viber.
The 1 put the info on his FB status and I was chatting to him last night about it.

The costs will be the same

Ok cool. So R3195 for the high performance course, and that will be with the M3? They bring a M-DCT and a manual don't they?

328i R2 400 per person
M3DCT R4 500 per person
M5 R5 500 per person
X6M R5 500

I know  And those were the numbers that were quoted me directly from BMW. Seriously, I wonder what the charge would be if I brought my own car? I know that they offer that in JHB whereby they teach you how to drive your own car more effectively, which may be a viable solution for me here.

Eish, R4500 at this point in time is two return flights for my wife, who is commuting full time back to JHB effective from 1st of September. I might consider the 135 or 328, but it also depends on what BMW tell me about my own car being used. Waiting for feedback from them.

They don't use your car. They use theirs. There is 1 instructor and 3 "students" per car.
You wouldn't want the other 2 students driving your car hard and destroying your tires.

Hello Mr Outsurance. I rolled my car during an Advanced Driving Course... Will you replace it?

I would just go with the 328 or 135i. I don't think you are going to have that much more of an experience with the M3 especially if you drive one anyway. Plus you get to thrash someone else's car!!!

Just do it in the 328i, it is exactly the same course, just with the 328i. The 328i is more than capable for you to get the value from the high performance course.
I did it in the 1M in September last year at Zwartkops. It was an awesome experience.

Got feedback from BMW. They only offer complimentary courses if you buy a NEW M (whatever it may be) but you cannot use your own car anymore. Me thinks that somebody blew an M up somewhere along the line....:fencelook:

Anyways,I may go down and watch you guys doing your thing.

Well quoted CS.

The main difference between the 135/328 and the M3 course will be at “how to control/handle” that particular type of car.

The 135 will be for the 1 series owners, 328 for 3 and 5 series owners, M3 and M5 for M owners, X^M for X series owners.

Bugger, do the 328 course.
