One does not simply part with an E39...

Although in saying that, that would mean I'd never be able to buy my dream car! :rollsmile:

Gorgeous pix of the 7.

I personally have never driven a 7 series but have been driven in one and the drive was absolutely super comfortable and a strong feeling of safety...and that was a 2005 model.

My issue would be space. Because a car like that you would only use for special occassions...i feel :inlove:

How's that price diff on the two 730d's? Both 5000km and 1 year difference, 700k price difference...

+1!!!!! :praise:

One day, I'll have a 7.

:thumbs::thumbs:

I have both, E39 530d....and E38 740i

my dilemma for the future, which one do I sell or trade when its time to upgrade....I just cannot decide...the E39 530d is just so economical and so full of torque, I coudn't ever part with her...and the look :inlove::inlove:

then the E38...I fell in love with it after JamesBond 007 movie, and just had to have one....the ride, the luxury, the look..:inlove::inlove:

I cannot get rid of either

but in 10-15 years from now I might have to make just such a tough decision..:bangdesk::bangdesk:

I remember my dad used to drive his 745i like he stole it, such was the versatility of those cars.

Funny how BMW brought back the electronic gear selector on the steering column which lead to Mercedes following suit and putting it on the S, ML, GL, E, CLS etc.
