BMW 635Csi, cost?

The model is a BMW 635Csi, in hennared, good condition overall, interior fine, seats need to be redyed, had some cosmetics done on passenger side door, needs both rubbers replaced on doors, power steering box is whining a bit, rest stock standard. car has 140k on the clock, price R90K. Also no papers?

That price is very high. You see them advertised for between 30K and 75k depending on year and condition. The year is the most important as halfway through the product life the e24 moved from being based on an e12 to being based on an e28. This had a huge impact on the look and equipment levels of the car. These cars are very susceptible to rust, specifically around the front fenders, sills and boot area, so be very thorough on you inspection. A far amount of tin worm and any price is too much to justify the rather large panel costs of replacement.
They are lovely cars. I have been looking for an original M88 engined M635csi for 3 years with no luck
