BMW 335i help

Hi Guys

My 335i(N54) has a slight miss when idling. If i rev it up i cant hear it anymore. If i drive the car and it stands for a short while before i drive again the miss is worse only for a few seconds. Almost like the car is flooded.

I have changed plugs. Not sure if this can be a coil or injector issue. Guessing injector that is leaking.

If anyone can assist with a set of coils for testing i will really appreciate it or perhaps someone know a guru that can help with the issue.

Based in Cape Town

Thanks

Hi loskop

It sounds like you might have a faulty coil pack.

Idle the car and swap the coils around/pull them out for a few seconds and put them back in. If there is no change in idle sound after you put it back in you know that coil is faulty and causing the car to over fuel and miss.

coils are cheap around R450 at gold wagen.

hope this helps!

Any idea on how to troubleshoot this? Can the injectors be serviced?

A guy at BMW told me they have a machine that can clean my injectors.
