BMW 335i coupe - unknown wiring???

Hey guys

Can anyone please perhaps help me out here.
I was cleaning car and removed the center rear console of my coupe and found these joined wires.

2 rca coming out oem connection
And 2 normal wires - red for power i would assume and another.

Just not sure if it is for dvd screens or for after market amp.

Maybe for the high/low convertor if an amp was in the car previously :dunno:

Sorry to be off topic but can u explain how u removed that console? My back ashtray lid spring has come off and i wanna put it back, but scared to break anything.

I will also have a look and see if i have those wires there too

It just clips off
Don't be rough - gently pull out from one side then the other

Yeah

Will run check on natis tomorrow and see who previous owner was.
BMW don't have records after there upgrade to new system....don't know why

There's no Audio OUTPUT cable running through that part of the car, only Audio INPUT. So I'll put money on the fact that those RCAs are connected to the Aux input of the headunit.
