I drove past this accident in the morning in the opposite direction, but I couldn't make out the car make because of the concrete barrier. That looks horrible.

Seems like he got underneath the truck hence the frontal damage is minimal compared to the roof.

Thats so sad It does look like he tried to avoid going under but couldn't make it in time causing the side to go under from the back corner of the truck .

Always be vigilant. I think we must ALL have had a near miss (and seen many near misses) with a heavy vehicle not paying attention or 'taking chances' changing lanes which is my uneducated theory on how this might have happened.
