Hi guys.. Need some advice here...
Im in the market for a 330d e90 lci.
I found a 2010 M sport auto with 100 000km on the clock going for R199 000...my questions are:

Is this a good price?
Hows the maintenance out of plan?
Does it have resale value? (plan on keeping it about 1.5 -2 years)
Hows the consumption compared to a e90 320i?

Im in two minds about car as I uave never owned a diesel before..

Any advice please..

Theres quite a bit of info on the diesels on the forum.

Try the search functionality first as most of your questions have been answered already but those driving diesels will punt them while there are obviously those that prefer turbo petrols.

You need to look at your needs and your pocket in terms of what you consider regular maintenance and repairs.

That car might still have some motorplan, or the option to extend, but the price is very reasonable.

 good buy, price looks very good.
maintenance is not bad at all so dont stress about that.
no cars have a good resale so dont expect it to be any better with a BMW.
compared to a 320i - pffffff... it will out perform, out right in all departments and will give give you almost a 3rd more mileage than a 320i.

once you drive a Diesel everything else will be bland in comparison, especially the 330d.

My ex-330d is for sale at a dealer. I think it's advertised at R239k but they would probably let it go for R230k.

i say keep the 17's, save up for a second set of 18's. I regret selling my 18's for my 19's

Congrats bud! you will love the car.
Sash why do you regret the change?
regret selling them to pay for the 19's, not the actual usage of the 19's

there is a considerable effect on consumption and acceleration from standstill, i would like to have the option of putting my originals back every now and then....
