Hi guys
New to BMW ownership lol. Been driving my first one about 2 years now. No regrets at all.
I think the bug has bitten and now im in search of more POWER :fencelook:

Been speaking to the guys at Steves for a downpipe and software upgrade? You guys can advise, is it worth it? Noticable power difference?
Also, any concerns/drawback that i should have in mind if i go ahead with it?

Yes the downpipe and software is a good upgrade and the power increase is very noticeable.

I would however not use Steve's for this and would go with some other vendors as we have on this forum..

Do a downpipe,mid box delete and software,it really transforms the car.

I have RK Motion software on my car and I am very happy with the service that I have received from Keithan thus far:thumbs:

Thanks for the advice. Was there a noticeable increase in the exhaust sound? I dont want something thats too loud, afraid the decat might make it much louder?

Maybe leave the mid box in place then... But a downpipe doesn't make the car much louder,you just hear the turbo a little bit more.

I can promise you that you will hit yourself on the head for not doing Downpipe and SW sooner... It's going to be like you have a new caa... I mean Beast!!! ...

These are solid cars. My bros one did close to 300,000 with no issues except for the damper pulley, which is normal. It was a manual and also had SW. Just do the regular oil service and you'll be good. Do a dyno before and after and you'll see and feel the difference. :thumbs:
