What happens when you go on the rogue rally or the supercar lifestyle road trip and all the cars do speeds of 300+? Then you stuck at the back with a stupid limiter doing 255km/h same as a little 135i! Or you go on breakfast runs with Ferrari 458's, McLarens, Mercedes SLS's, Porches etc etc, then you race them and cant stay ahead because you limit at 255.. :thumbdo:
The point is, if you want it to be 305 (+50km/h not 25km on the m5/m6) then you can, driving it daily or on a track on empty highway or illegal races or whatever the case may be is besides the point. If it was the point then we could all have limited our cars at 130km/h...
If you have the money for a 1.5mil M6/M5 or 1.2mil M3/M4 then 35k is nothing.
I for one am extremely happy about the 305 limiter and taking my M6 to BMW next week! If Ill use it on a daily basis, I doubt it, but when the time comes I can! :rollsmile:

you guys are missing the point.. nowhere can you legally drive that speed on local roads.. yet they are allowed to legally sell an upgrade like that.
the conundrum is, why be allowed to sell something that cannot be legally used on public roads?

Who cares about an ugly outdated E63 when you have a SL63 at home (now with rebellion chip - 460kw)? HAHA! E63 is one of those cars no one even wants for free, doesnt matter how fast it is! There are many many faster cars than my m6, bakkies, some mad Audis, Gtr's etc, but none of them looks or feels like a M6. M6 is boss!
