Can that bonnet even open? The back looks unfinished. The front isn't totally horrible

I like everything except for the grill, they just need to make sure to let this thing be fast enough to show the r8 or a 911 a clean pair of heels and were good to go

And, the hoffmeister kink and rear window proportions of these Hommage models have completely lost the 'feel' of the originals.





Good to know this won't go into production but hopefully, a streamlined, softened and smoother looking machine will come out of this for production.

When I first saw the i8 I hated it. Now that I've seen it in real life I actually like it.

When I first saw this I hated it, but I will reserve my judgement until I actually see one in the metal. It may just grow on me as well.

maybe I am too old, and have a soft spot for vehicles from my youth, some things are best left unchanged.
These new vehicles are just styled way to outragiously aggressive

Only the side looks ok, the front is over styled (reminds me of that vulgar, M6 Tension from AC Schnitzer) with the grille being too elongated and the lights too slim, giving it a beaver look, and the rear under styled with some defining lines still to be added on.

The colour is also left-field for BMW, I think they wanted to out do the Audi Quattro Concept shown recently in yellow, which looks much better in execution. If they can revise the front & rear, think it will be more convincing.

Then may I suggest a chrome wrap and you park it next to the old one and you can admire the reflection.
