Hey, I'll sell mine for whatever the final winning bid is. Actually, no, lets double that. Ridiculous for a piece of cloth that surely is not that rare.

Is it really that rare? My MLE did not come with one. The one I have is in perfect condition. I took it from an E34 I owned when I sold it, and it now resides in the E39 M5 tool tray. I really have never placed much value on it. Don't even know which era of models it was in, just assume the one of the E34's, E36's, etc...

I think so (have never really tried finding one), but it is just me being pedantic, I just want it in my tool kit, it looks soooo pretty

Don't think you can even get it from BMW anymore :(

I doubt.....need a full set as well......have through work befriended a dealer in Munich, he is the fortunate owner of 1 of the 20year limited edition M5's that were built some time back. Will ask him, you need the full set?

Pahaha, I can take one of those free blue cloth that comes with your LCD computer monitor and just print a blue BMW logo and sell it for cheap cheap ;)

As for the tools, I'm leaving mine as it is, got other things that needs spending on  its just sitting in there collecting rust.

I'll call my uncle in Beijing ;)

BavAuto in the States sells all genuine BMW factory tools. It worked out to be around R604 just for all the tools alone (ex. shipping, VAT, customs duties).
