Sorry Philip, was a normal tyre. M cars don't come with RFTs. No space anywhere on the car to put one,so they come with these M Mobility kits that you are supposed to be able to inflate the tyre with. But those kits are the first things that go on the car,as in get removed...:roflol:

M cars don't come with runflats because it's a compromise of the ride quality, cornerning ability wadda wadda :roflol:
There's no space anywhere on the car for a spare. Sorry,read that and saw that it looked as if I said that there was no space for runflats!:rollsmile:

Thanks man,I was just so amazed at how the car handled it considering the speed I was doing,not that it was lock you up fast,but still,for the car to be so stable after the blow out,just reaffirms for me what great cars we drive.

Don't we just love BMW for taking away the spare.

I mean it is obviously a lot more convenient to sit next to the road for 4 hrs and to be towed away rather than to change the wheel and be on your way 15 minutes later
