I actually like the wood trim in most cases, but yes, for certain cars it really does not fit in with the car's personality like an ///M car for instance. Black Piano wood trim is very very nice though!!

Here's a thought... Plastidip has a Smoke colour... used it on the boat this weekend and it goes darker as you apply more coats... finish is more a satin to matte...

Your other option is to have it chemically dipped...

google a company called coat-it, i think they are based in pretoria and they have those grainy, marble effects that you are after

These colours below all go well with beige. Also Gray Poplar and Bamboo Anthracite have slight brown when in direct sunlight but still black in normal light
