self adhesive. this is known to be pretty much the best vinyl.

Apprently it will remove cleanly up to 5 years, and has a 8 year outdoor life

i think you should think of doing the strips for the roof rack as well...if it were my car i would do do the panels above the doors as well the tricky bit is how the C pillar joins the boot...

basically i would Vinyl the rest if the roof from the bonnet to the boot something like this

unfortunately with the bmw the way the boot joins the roof does not give a clear body line that joins the back window to the side windows so depending on where you put that line it could look good or terrible but it would look hot if you were to get it right

I have too much stuff to do as well , like getting my mirrors and bases piano black, and that damn csl diffusor.

how much did they charge you for the painted roof? did they also do the roof rack rails?

I did the roof raills as well
