Hi Guys ,
It has come to our attention that there are people out there who have recently started their own "Carbon cleaning" services. We have heard that some of the cars that were "done" have suffered engine damage and failures (multiple stories heard from different sources). Please be aware and careful.
The method we use (walnut shell blasting) is used by BMW GMBH and was designed/approved by BMW. I am sure the engineers who decided upon this method did this for a reason. It is completely safe and will not damage the motor when used correctly.
Any other material or method used is dangerous and should be avoided. We have also heard that they are saying it is walnut shell and then they use other materials or show the customer a sample of walnut shell and then use other products.
Myself and my dealers have been approached to sell loose shell by various people, which we have not done. My dealers are also contractually bound to not sell loose shell. Shell is also not locally available to our knowledge. It needs to be imported per container to make it viable for the pricing we give.
Please look here for our dealers that will ensure a perfect job, done correctly with peace of mind.
