BEWARE OF ACD (MIDAS) BAD SERVICE

:thumbdo: As I'm currently havinng problems with my e36 320i. I towed my car to Auto Care & Diagnostics (Midas Group) Hammanskraal for diagnosis after they confirmed that they do have the diagnosis machine for my car. I arrived and gave Cecil the keys and he asked what's wrong, I said I need diagnosis cause it delivers fuel but no spark, I asked if I can be allowed to see when they perform diagnosis He said NO!!! He will write down the error codes for cause they can't print. I went outside and sat at a bench no one attended my car after the estimated time I went to Him and ask what's wrong with the car He said the car have lots of problem it gave him many error codes. I said you are lying cause I have been sitting there and no one attended my car and He said He was waiting for an OBD1 cable then we asked (Me & My Friend's friend who towed the car) so how did you know that the car have lots of errors? Cecil said by just looking at it. I got upset cause I paid for the car to be towed for nothing. This is totally unacceptable. If I wasn't there I was going to be charged for the diagnosis which didn't happened. This is day light robbery

Call Bemows in Pta and ask if they can recommend someone .You could PM Gizmo and ask if he knows someone in Pta . He is in the south of JHB unfortunately . Good luck .

Its amazing what chances Workshops take,just imagine how badly customers get ripped of that know nothing bout mechanics or electronics.Its a great thing u caught them out,you should take it up with the Owner or Manager.
 
I once had a bad service and reported it to hellopeter.com and the Manager (Ann) called me and apologised about the bad and I kept her contacts. Afte witnessing this I called her and informed her. She said she's currently at warmbad at the funeral, I guess she'll attend my matter as soon as she's back. The workshops cheats people, that's why I diy. Unfortunately I don't have the code scanner. This is total bull

I had a meeting with Manager she was sincerely apologetic, as for this Cecil He's hell rude left while we were talking. I guess He's some how related to the manager. Just because He saw the ignition coils cover absent he says my car is problematic, that's Bull K@K. The manager gave me two front rubber maths as a token of apology. All I wanted was to expose their bad service.

What the f...k must you do with two rubber mats ? Your car still needs to be sorted, and this Cecil is still a waste of space !
