It has got to be the 1M for the Hoonigan, and the e39 M5 for the Hoonigan with a family. Enough said.

I've never been a die hard BMW fan....But, the E30 325iS is my all time favourite car! Ok except the Ferrari 575M :smashScreen:

The E30 is a shape that will make everyone turn and take a second look. The 325iS, will make everyone stand up, point, and take pictures!
I love that car and will forever be my first love! :inlove:

The thing that amazes me though, is you will get little 6 year old kids point as you drive passed in a 325iS. That kid doesn't even know anything about that car, but it catches his eye....a 25 year old car! :praise: :praise: :praise:

Long live the E30!!!!!

are they not pointing at the lil kid driving the e30 and like wtf

I hate you! I don't even have a comeback for that you piece of ish! :roflol:

I owned 2x E39's, regrettably never an M5.

This is also a good contender:

But what do I know, I'm just an old ballie who likes cars that are bigger than a shoebox (M3 cough cough).

The question asked is quite a subjective one. There are many crtieria that can be applied:
  • the most acclaimed (E39)
  • the best secondhand value (E46)
  • the coolest (E31)
  • the maddest (E36/8 M3 Coupe)
  • the one everybody wants (E30)
  • the one everybody wants but can't get in South Africa (E30 M3)
  • the one that everybody who had one wish they still had (E36)
  • the one that put the company on the map (Neue Klasse)
  • the rarest (507 Roadster)
  • the first that was branded as a 'series' (E12)
  • the first V12 (E32)
  • the first V10 (E60 M5)
  • the first supersaloon (E28 M5)

I could go on and on... :smashScreen:

Looking back, the first bm I actually liked was the 635CSI. Then the first "matchbox" M5. Not an E30 fan but the 333i was/is my favourite of the range. Then the M Coupe. The V8 M5 was awesome. Really liked the X5 4.8is
M3's have always been great, and each generation get's better IMHO
BUT, funny enough, whilst I wouldn't mind owning them, I never actually "wanted" or felt that "need" for any of those.
But when I look at a V8 M3 Coupe, or M4, or 1M, or 435, or even just an E90 LCI / F30 with M Pack, I can really see myself in it
I guess what I'm saying is that for me, newer is better when it comes to this brand

Agree. As nice as the 325is is, I'm sure a Fiesta ST would run circles around it.

That may be true but I know which car I would want parked in my driveway.

We are overlooking the grand coupe in M flavour. With out doubt the sexyiest car on the market at the moment. Too soon to say the best BMW but in a few years it will be on the list.
