Hi there,
Once the 7 years or M/Plan is finished, what would you suggest as the best after market warranties on these cabs? (E46 ///M3)
I hear SA Warranties, Hollard, MIB etc are all good and Motorite is bad.

What say you?

In my view, they are all worthless.

I have had significant issues with Motorite in the past, and do not trust them at all.

Best advise I can give you is to Hellopeter, and take a look there

Hey Mate

I am currently with Innovations from NEDBANK. I haven't had any issues with my claims at all. As long as your car is serviced by a BMW dealer or RMI approved workshop on due dates, then they are happy. They do offer different packages. My warranty is close to the end of its period, will have to renew it soon.

SA Warranties will be my next option as they do cover abit more than my current warranty, plus you can pay them monthly. Not too sure on the Innovations warranty, but will find out during the course of next week.

Motorite, defenitley a NO GO zone, had them before and they are useless.

Hope this helps abit.

Cheers

Hi Guys,

B4 u guys get your hopes up on the warranty that i mentioned. I had a problems that required my fuel measure and glow plugs to be replaced, which costed about R5000 and the warranty did not cover it.

Just so you know that the innovation warranty dont cover everything.

If your car hasn't broken after seven years then I suggest the best motorplan is to make sure your car is serviced and continue using it as you used it in the seven years it did not break.

Basically use the money you would have spent on a motorplan on ensuring that the car does not break.

PUt the cash that you would spend monthly on some kind of 'plan' into a seperate savings account...
