Best 50ppm Diesel in PTA East?

I am new to the tractor family :rollsmile:

Any Diesel owners that can advise me on which fuel station in PTA East stocks 50ppm Diesel at a good price.

Typically stations close to highways ripp you due to their proximity. I've seen price differences of close to 80c per liter between different stations.

all i can say is be careful as to where you buy your diesel, because i found out this afternoon that diesel sales are not regulated like petrol. so the garage owner is entitled to sell it at any cost.

There are a number of "Good" Service Stations there...

Ok this is not really in Pretoria East, but not too far off in Arcadia if you happen to be in the area. A BP petrol station on Schoeman street just after Leyds street has 50 ppm diesel at "cost" every Wednesday and Saturday. Have not been there in a while but their prices are amongst the cheapest out there.

There is a Shell Garage in Rubenstein Avenue that I use regularly currently they are charging R13.05 for 50 PPM.

Thanks Enjay2008, last two fill ups were at R13.65, so R13.05 is a good saving!

A bit off topic but still diesel related....can a person use 500ppm in our cars as well? what's the difference as the 500ppm is almost R1 cheaper than the 50ppm...It's for my wife's 2003 Jeep Cherokee.

If you want to preserve the life of your diesel engine, use the lowest PPM you can find :thumbs:

I stay faaaaar away from 500ppm.

To give you an idea, in Europe you get 2ppm diesel :fencelook:

Just a tip. I get 100km to 150km less on a tank of Shell in my F30 320d at the reef. For me Sasol is the best so far. Go read some of the diesel threads http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=50521
