Regarding quality products.....
Am I clear in my understanding that we(forum members) can discuss the products of suppliers outside the country(BMS, Vargas etc) who don't seem to be registered advertisers, but we can not discuss the products local companies who are not registered forum advertisers?

The official position of BMWFanatics is to help its members. By advising for and against suppliers. Whether they are advertisers or not. Preference is always given towards advertisers, the main reason for this is they have been tried and test by the members of BMWFanatics, so essentially, the answers you getting are first or second hand info. Not thumb-sucked!
Your initial post is a question, to which answers are provided.

You can discuss away. Like arbee said we give preference and recommend our advertisers as they are tried and tested. If you were not allowed I would have unapproved this thread from the get go.
I don't understand how you think we don't allow the discussion of local companies when this thread is still active.
And just so there is clarity. If a company comes onto the forum which happens fairly often, and they say offer x and y. that is not allowed as it contravenes with our advertisers who are paying to be here. It would not be fair letting companies come advertise for free when they are paying to be here.

nobody said we cant discuss their products or services... its just they cant come on here and pretend they the best thing since sliced bread and expect not to tramp the toes of advertisers who have proved themselves in many instances over and over...
