Why am I entertaining thoughts of replacing the E39 with an E60? I caught myself looking at E60s on the Gum this morning.

I promised my wife I would make a concerted effort with the bond and stop buying cars.................this can't end well! :bangdesk:

haha... I know the feeling. I've been looking a 2 door E30's again as of late, but I'm pushing what I can into paying the loan I made for the 540. Must finish that first.

Must admit the e60 is growing on me but nothing close to how much i like e39.

I know you are right. The other thought I had was a newer E39. 540i man or auto, 530i man or 530d man.

I just want to pay off my car, and then i will start looking again.
BMW is calling me weekly to ask if want to trade my baby in on something else, but i am resisting the temptation.

I mean, my car has 111k km's on the clock, for a 2003 thats not much at all, and now that wifey bought her Honda, I am even driving less, so why sell it now... :nonono:

When I am finally going to buy again, I am either going new F30 but a demo model, or a nice X3 or X5, or maybe even a Z4...

Personally I would stick with your E39 - a 528i manual is awesome and pretty rare! I suppose a manual E60 530i wouldn't be a bad thing, and also pretty scarce. But basically, for me, the E39 528i (and your car's colour) has always been a very pretty car!
