Beep sound

Hi Guys

While i was driving this morning i heard a beep sound coming from the dash area , at 1st i thought it was part of the song that was playing and ignored it

Now when ever i start up it makes a beep.

Is it an indication for a service? All the green bars are now full

nope temp was 5 and no bluetooth kit

sat time in over 3 years that i hear it. check controller says ok and no lights on on the dash

Do you have a tracking device installed? My matrix unit use to do this when I had logbook activated.

since we on this topic of beeps, I have this sound as well... since I installed a chip.
goes off randomly... no idea what it is...

sound gone, brake light circuit failure came on over the weekend and now thats gone as well

When the low temperature warning comes on does it also affect the traction control. I noticed the traction control kicks in earlier or it could just be the cold roads with less traction available.

Check that the 'Memo' button is not clicked on the OBC :thumbs:

it shows an icon like this when it's on:

Failing that - it's an etag :fencelook:

on the E36 if the beep is activated for the clock, one minute before an hour it beeps ( i.e 3:59 it beeps )
you can switch it off on the OBD with the "wifi" like button.

Yes, that's what causes the reminder beep
