It was such a beautiful day yesterday so I decided to take the family on a drive up signal hill to check out the sunset...unfortunately in our hurry to leave I forgot the camera but managed to take these with my phone...

The water was perfectly flat...

Some car pics, I couldn't resist..

When I look at pictures and postcards of CapeTown, I do agree it "looks" beautiful.........

but

I hate that place with a passion.....due mainly to my previous work, that had me arrive in CPT after dark...spent 45 minutes in a "mini-bus" to the hotel in SeaPoint...and then another 45 minutes before dawn the next day back to the airport....and that every second or third day....living out of a suitcase....minimum rest of 8hours.....

I am glad to see the back of that place, totally due to my experience of the place, as it was enforced upon me by my previous employer.

but one day in the future I might actually enjoy a visit when it is on my own terms, and I have the time to actually see the beauty that is always depicted on postcards and photo's.

It all depends on the experience you had, my sister inlaw had a similar experience when she visited years ago and hated Cpt but when she came down for my wifes baby shower 3 years ago and we took her around, she now says that it is THE most beautiful, friendly place and shes been back twice since then...

The beauty of this place is amazing, my wife loves the Winelands so we visit a different farm almost every weekend that we can..
