Badge Theft Durban

I'd like to highlight possible hotspots for BMW badge theft in Durban: UKZN campus and Pavillion shopping mall. My cousin's X1 bonnet badge was stolen at the university campus :argh:. I can't believe that something like this would happen - obviously people steal badges because there is a market for it but who buys these badges? It cost her R600 to get a new badge from the agent. The guy who stole the badge was caught thanks to CCTV but it's a PIA to have your car vandalised.

a few years ago my badge got stolen from dut...a week later i put a new 1 and the very same day it got stolen again!

What I did to keep mine a bit more tight is add a bit of sylicone on the two pins that push into the rubber boots and put a little on the back before you put it on the ride.

Problem with this is the idiots will apply more force in trying to take it out and damage your paintwork in the process :bangdesk:

You guys should see the 50+ cars without badges in my sister's road in Woodstock, CT. Her boyfriend even had a gun in his face when questioning a shifty street shark......wtf CT?
