Hi Everyone

As some of you might know, I've recently sold my beloved '99 model Nissan 200 STI which I've owned for almost 5 years.

It was really difficult for me to let it go, but I needed something more practical as I am planning to expand my family.

I've been thinking of getting a diesel for a while, but I needed something that could offer very good performance as well as decent fuel economy.

The reason for this is that I didn't want something I would get bored of, that would eventually lead me to buy another STI and I know I'll never find another one close to the condition that mine was in. :blueCry:

After a lot of research, it seemed that the E90 was the way to go. Good fuel economy, good performance, even better with just software.

So I've finally managed to get hold of a 2007 Le Mans Blue E90 330d Manual Sportspack.

From what I've heard these cars are quite reliable, I really hope I didn't make the wrong decision. :tiptoe:

Here are a few random pics, I'll take better pics once I've sent the car for a proper valet.

Congrats man.....Love that colour..

Vibration dampener pully is a common issue on these cars at about 150k km.
If its an auto get the oil and filter service done on the box....

Thanks Karsh!
What are the symptoms that the pully might need replacing/repairing, is it a costly fix?

Yep, they seem to be quite rare, that's why I didn't waste any time when I saw one this one.

Thanks Charlton, I'm really enjoying the car.
It's way different from the SR, but I like it.

There are no signs that its on its way out that i know off....

If you smell rubber burning and if you lose power steering just stop, switch the car off and call a tow truck.

Its between 7 to 10k depending on who does the repairs.

Best to take out a motor warranty with innovation or sorts just to have some piece of mind.

Ok, I've already taken out a 2 year unlimited km warranty.
So hopefully that will cover it if anything should go wrong.
