Got my Bumper and bonnet resprayed like 2,5months ago by AutoLine Body (think thats the name) its in germiston on President Str... and my bumper and bonnet is looking like crap! there are chips everywhere!!!!:cursin: 20++++

Took the car back and the guy told me its normal its not his fault?!? says its cause of the highway contruction.... Keep in mind its only a weekend car and i have done max! 2000km since then...

WTF! :cursin: The only way to prevent this is using that protective plastic layer, which i agree but this is ridiculus!!

Yes, they used inferior quality paint. You probably got a good deal, didn't you? To me it is funny that you still get this, because locally manufactured Plascon clearcoat is incredibly tough and also cheap! But I've seen this before.

thats sad these guys are always taking chances , i had the rear bumper resparayed on my car and it started cracking , i got the same response

Depends on colour. Doesn't seem like a bad price, but if its a botch job like yours, you definitely paid too much. Its very difficult to know how good a paint shop is unless you get a good reference from a customer at least 6months after the work was done. Sadly, there's probably not much you can do about it now...
