It was a lekker car, but just lacked the excitement of the M3. Good all round performer, suppose like Jacques Kallis, reliable with power but not going to set your pulse racing.... whereas the M3 is more like AB de Villiers..... looks all sedate but is just an animal....lol.
The RS was good in the twisties, but the Quattro system definitely weighed it down in a straight line. Personally, I think they are underrated cars, but that's just my opinion, which doesn't really count for much!lol

Thanks becks, I am absolutely loving it. You really looked after it, I have to say! The paintwork is immaculate, the only issue I picked up was the plastic vinyl over the steering wheel which was peeling, but I've sorted it out. But what a fantastic car!

Yeah my buddy owns a carwash and he made sure that the car received the best treatment. I never let the leather ever go without care (even ppl with buttons on their jeans where given a warning not to squirm around when on my seats...hehe). The car was driven very responsibly and every little thing that I thought needed checking was taken into BMW (they really dont like that)

The vinyl peels very quickly unfortunately - have the same on my current M

Glad you enjoying - always use the power button....

The power button is set to always on in the iDrive...lol.... I did put a BMC filter in it last week, just so it could breathe a bit easier, nice torque from lower down in the rev range. But thanks for looking after it until I bought it.....lol! I've had the car 3 weeks it's been washed 3 times... so I am with you on keeping the car spotless! The windscreen is getting replaced tomorrow, nasty crack in the top left, so looking forward to that. And thanks for the nice set of boots! First time I've ever had a car with Bridgestones on,loving the feel of them on the road. If you don't mind me asking, what did they cost?
I saw the pictures of your M6 and the guys at Prima Nova were telling me about that M6.... you lucky you got there before me!LOL! Naaah,my wife would've killed me!

No probs...the M6 will be waiting as well....

The tyres were around 16k for the set - wanted good quality for that type of car, so glad you enjoying them as well

That's not too bad at all actually, and they are awesome rubber too. Cool, thanks for that! There is very little I am NOT enjoying. Like the seats, compared to the buckets I had in my RS4, these are like sitting on clouds, they are so comfortable.

Yep, my brother organised them from his buddy at a good price given I was buying the set so I did luck out.

The seats are awesome and that colour just compliments the colour of the car so nicely
