I would like to make an open invitation to anyone who has bought Axis products to post reviews up here

your feedback is important for others looking at buying products

you can post up links to your own threads or write a short review here... this thread can then be used by those looking at a product to decide if it is right for them :) Not many people will have had the chance to try out or experience the items before buying so your input is very important...

I often get feedback by PM but 1st hand user reviews carry more weight (after all im the big bad sponsor that will say anything to get sales :roflol: )

So post up your product reviews good or bad...

AXIS as always rocks!

Thanks for the great service and advice Sean, the options when ordering the MoS2 and keeping me updated throughout the process.

I got my LiquiMoly MoS2 today as well as two bottles of NF Diesel Boost.

Will give a write-up if I can as soon as I have used these products :praise:

Liqui Moly - TopTech 5w40 review

My car was starting to make tappet/lifter noise last year in winter, and it got worse towards the beginning of this year. I was running Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 and the car get serviced every 12 months or 12000Kms whichever comes first.

I did an oil change last month using the liqui moly and have not heard that noise since then :) so for me that's great. I even got Liqui Moly for my wifes corsa..

And then also the Service of Axis is tops..

Koni Sport - E46 325i, touring with sportspack.

These shocks are a perfect combo with the standard sport springs in the E46. They can be set allot harder than the standard shocks and still be allot smoother and more comfortable.

I had a problem with one of the shocks a couple of months after buying them but Sean sorted everything out very quickly and professionally.

My rating is as follows:

Effectiveness: 5 Stars
Price: 4 Stars
Quality: 5 Stars
Service: 5 Stars

Buy again: 6 Stars

I have a bottle of MoS2 here, but too scared to put it into my 335....

I would leave this to the experts, but I have been advised by a very reliable source this stuff is gold in your engine for added protection, especially on turbo cars

You gonna put it in your Beemers?

I actually put this in my ex 1200 Boxer BMW bike. That thing has some noises in the engine. It actually made the engine run a bit quiter. Can't recall much else.

Think I should just pour in the Mos2 tomorrow.

if its LM Mos2 you have little to fear and it will give you added protection...
I have seen used oil analysis that show a 50% reduction in metal wear...

some Mos2 is not fine enough and blocks the oil filter but Liquimoly uses Mos2 that is fine enough to pass though the oil filter :)

e34 540i6.

Background - I bought the car with some lowering springs and it handled horribly, crashed over every bump into the bumpstops and it was so low, that i could not get in anywhere or over anything.

I then got a set of H&R lowering springs with the primary goal of raising the ride height :fencelook:

So the H&R springs were fitted to the 540 together with new M5(aluminum) lower control arms and new Gabriel Gasriders(read sh!t, but I am not prepared to spend too much on this car) followed by wheel alignment. The ride height increased by 15mm which I am really glad about. I would have preferred if it raised by 20mm from the stupidly low springs, but oh well…… At least its higher.

This one is for doomsday :)

Initial Impressions – it is definitely firmer, but far from uncomfortable. I actually expected worse. It is weird to describe, but even though it is firmer, it is actually more comfortable than before

So on a particular day the opportunity presented itself to take the car out on Zwartkops racetrack and I am very impressed. It does ultimately understeer as to be expected by the firmer front and softer rear, but it is far from bad. In fact, you can now for the first time steer the car to a certain degree with the throttle. Previously it would just bottom out in the front and understeer into oblivion while bouncing around.
The current slight understeer could also be caused by the staggered wheel setup 225/40/18 in the front and 255/35/18 in the rear, because they actually came with 235/45/17s all round.

All in all, a very nice upgrade.

I can also vouch for Moranor's customer service. There was a slight delay in the shipment, but he kept me updated and in the loop of progress the whole time.

Thanks!!

I cant edit me frigging post :argh:

(moranor: "fixed the post for you" :) )

Fordkoppie what you describe is exactly how high quality suspension with proper R&D behaves :) controlled but still comfortable... its like giving your car a tailored suit it just feels right...

Im sure the understeer would be completely resolved if you were to fit the rears also

Did my VANOS seals today which Sean supplied on time.

I had asked for Wednesday delivery and lo and behold they were delivered on Wednesday.

For customercentric behaviour I am almost positive that Sean wrote the book.

Thank you
