On my 325, I had a set of FULDA CARAT EXELERO - 245/40 R17 91 Y.
I bought them 2 1/2 years ago and my km reading was on 57k km's, had to put on new tyres in November, my km's were on 109k, so that was 52k km's on the set.
Just remember I had the same size front and rear, so 245, in the front as well, so I was able to rotate them every few months, thus making them last.

Ace, where in GP are you, cause I got a good connection at Hi-Q in Hatfield.

Hey There

Im in GP... Hatfield is around the corner from where i work :=):

Done around 25Kkm on Michelin PS2's and looks like I'll make it to around 60Kkm. I must just say, you guys who are getting 15-25K out of a set...just WTF are you guys doing?? I mean I don't powerslide around every corner, but I like to get a move on most of the time... are you guys including track days? Cuz then this thread is a bit difficult to use as a comparison...if not you may want to look at smoothing out your driving style...:fencelook:

Ace, if you can wait till after the 12th, cause Richard is on leave.
If not, speak to a guy called Morten, but he cant do the prices Richard can, so I suggest waiting.
I will even meet you there on the day you decide to go, just to show face and meet and greet everyone, thus ensuring you get the best price possible. :thumb:

I averaged about 55000 to 60000 on Conti Sport Contact 2's.
Now that that is finished I bought a set of Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin's which I put about 11000 kays on , very smooth and confortable tire.

Only snag when aligning is that it throws out my speed sensors , generally solveable by going back to AutoQuip Tygervalley for re-alignment (it also happened after I replaced all 4 shox with Monroe Reflex's)

Turns out if the steering is slightly off-centre when aligned then the wheel sensors go haywire , do the same alignment but with CSC2's and no issue at all , go figure :=):

@ Greg, it's the torque from low down that impacts on the n54/55 IMHO.
Coisman, I'm not in a hurry per say. I can wait till your guy is back. We can get a quote and I'll get it as soon as I can can compare some prices. Thanks for ur assistance with this :)

Mitchelin PS2. 30 000km

This is about right and the average if you get your wheel alignment done every month (2 max), eliminate any shudder by ensuring rims are balanced, have tyres rotated every 5-8k km's (mine are staggered and not directional so can be swopped over to face the opposite direction).

It depends on your driving style and the power your car puts down. Driving hard into corners with 240 kw and very soft rubber (eg. Bridgestone RE050's) and you're lucky to see 25k km's on a set.

I have never owned a car long enough to replace tyres more than once :fencelook:

I've never worn down a tyre in my life but maybe I may just in the future because I love both of my vehicles (equally) but will probably get rid of one in 2013.

Anyway, 30000 kms on a set of tyres for a 135i is very decent!

72000km so far on the Conti Sport Contact 3, 225/45/17.
Probably another 5 - 8000km still left.
Yeah, this is the wife's car :=):
