Hmm possible, but its looks just like the newer ones. Its a Business CD front loader, can play MP3's

FR can you do me a favour and check yours, the software on it?

Apparently it has to be SW43 or later

Got my AUX kit today and installed it in 15mins at varsity in the parking lot haha. was so excited. sounds good, very happy with it!

Just need to find a nice place to mount the input jack. Under the armrest looks like a good spot.

Will post pics soon.

Tried making my own today, worked but the sound that came thru was very soft, and sounded crap.. But then again I made it from crap thin wires I had lying around..

Could also be that the radio is an old one (well its a 2000 car with business TAPE) will try a better cable some time..

Where did you plug it into? Does yr headunit have prep for the aux at the back?

Mine has the newer software version which is quite difficult to make a cable for as it has to have capacitors and transistors.

was easier just to buy the proper cable

@ De@nO: Plugged it into the CD changer connections. Have now also found a DIY to make an aux connect to the TAPE (Left Right Ground) involves opening up the radio and soldering in there.. Might try that one as I dont use the tape & then will still be able to use CD Changer

@DonovanP : What radio you got? & Where did you plug it into??

Just tried again, made a complete new one.. It sounds ok for the music but as soon as it gets to where the persons singing it goes all quiet & cant hear their voices only music..

Think it has something to do with the connections on the radio, it has a Left + & -, a right + & -, and ground. I am only connecting to the left + & right + & ground

& it sounded worse with the IPOD instead of my cell..

guess I will try again.. Got to pull the radio out again anyway as I broke the clip that holds the power & other connections on, so busy glueing it
