It seems that everyone is in agreement that the new M is a fantastic car, but at the same time are somewhat disappointed with the engine :flyfun:

Methinks the M purists are going to have a lot of heated debates...I feel that the M Division should not have strayed from the naturally aspirated 6 cylinder configuration....:fencelook:

I think they had no other means but follow the trend.. After 20 years upping the power we would have had to see the M3 with V12 and 7L of displacement:) Technology has not gone anywhere further for the past 20 years. To me it would be more logic if they put 2 small turbos on the V8, boosting torque and economy with some technology to switch half the cylinders for economy or some sort of improvement with electric drive boost on NA?? I don't know. Just feel crooked. Ja but lets be positive.

I agree , they should have added turbo's to the V8 engine..
