Auto Finesse Review - Avalanche Snow Foam

So this weekend I finally got around to trying out the Avalanche Snow Foam from Auto Finesse.
Iv been using shampoo's particularly the Carways Hyperwash to foam cars and found that it stripped off the LSP and decreased the LSP lifespan by a large margin.
So I finally got hold of Auto Finesse SA and Vish got me some Avalanche.
This stuff is mild pre-treatment with citrus power designed to remove and soften dirt while leaving the LSP intact. this morning I used it on my Car and the SO's car with great effect.

The first thing I noticed that the mix was concentrated but the viscosity was like water which eliminated all the pre-wash mixing process. The other bonus was how this stuff clung to the car but dripped off the car in a uniform step. The other bonus was how well it loosened the dirt and baked on fly puke. This stuff is a winner for the guys who like foaming cars as part of the washing process

Not sure i quite understand the question Dippies.

The problem with using shampoos as a foaming agent is that it strips off the LSP quicker then if you just washed the car as normal due to dilution ratio's

With the AF Avalanche its specifically designed to soften dirt without removing the LSP

You awnserd me in any case I am by no means a expert in detailing but I like doing my work self on the car. I ment does it also prep the paint in some way for a detail or is it more just a deep cleening wash.

If you own a dark colour car, foaming is an absolute must. Of course it does help reduce swirls on all colours but darker colours are much more obvious. Less dirt on the paint means fewer swirls ! And this is taking the 2BM into account. (2 Bucket Method)

Ah - okay

Its classified as a prewash actually
so you would foam the car down and wash it afterwards

If i was to prep it for a detail then i would use something like Carways and mix a strong dilution ratio to strip what ever is on the paint
