Thanks for posting fordkoppie, I have to say the highway consumption of the 330i always amazes me, BMW really did a good job on this 3.0l engine.

I have to add that for just urban driving the figure is more in the region of 12, but I tend to have a bit of a heavy foot.

When I went down to Durban last year I got something like 7.9L per 100km... 130-140km 2 people and lots of luggage... not bad for a 3.0L...
In my ST yesterday.. while playing... I got 8.3L... :thumbs:

Myself and Sankekur decided to rather have a conservative consumption challenge so we didn’t have to brake in time for anything.:rollsmile:
I lost, but Sankekur returned a VERY respectable figure of 6.5l/100 average on his 330i and that included being stuck in terrible traffic @ William Nichol drive.

So what consumption did the M3 actually get?

:thumbs: When I start to play(turbo spinning) mine JUMPS!! to 49.5L/100km.... so I think my 8.3L what I got was not bad... :joy:

Joe - i once had the oppertunity to drive an ST for a week or 2 and could only manage 16L/100, so your 8.3 is really good

Was a great run thanks guys... Just wish i could find the person that put the little dent on my car at stonehaven.. If i had to find that person he would be sitting with his nuts in a little bottle hanging around his neck...

that a black Bmw was parked next to you at the Engen
and a white Fiesta was parked next to you at Stonehaven...
but this car was about 1m away from you...:nonono:
so suppect is a black Bmw...:thumbs:
