So correct me if I'm wrong on the sequence of events.
- I post my opinion on a thread. In your opinions, inciteful or in bad taste.
- Instead of fucking up Arbee's thread any more and in reply to his question I post a thread to discuss it.
- I get accused of being an asshole (paraphrasing offcoarse
), stirring again and just generally being wrong for having an opinion and expressing it in the way I did.
- I retort to those stirring with me.
- Some members and sponsors swear at me and starts taking things personally.
- I get warned and put on the moderation queue.
- I get a pm from Nic telling me I am a douche and my opinions are uncalled for.
- I get an apology from those that took it too far.
- I drop my opinion on Arbee's thread and leave it at that.
- I accept the apology.
- I move on.
And then, close to 11pm I get banned.
The reason being: Cool off or move on.
Now, I don't mean to be an asshole here. Or to give you another excuse to try the banning thing again. But really? The situation had resolved itself. I didn't need to cool off. Everyone had moved on and there was nothing happening.
Similarly, I don't see those that took to personally attacking me banned?
I am not looking for an apology. All I want to show with this post is that you are being biased. I would appreciate it if you could impartially decide on what is better for the forum.
I can guarantee you that moderating unnecessarily just adds fuel to the fire.
