Hi Fanatics, I am looking at doing stage 1 tuning in the near future as the diesel price seems to be climbing. Has anyone done stage 1 tuning at ATM Chipping or Q-TEC Performance?

I've only ever used Xcede on my cars and wouldn't look elsewhere. Exceptional product and service.

Given your name, I'd assume you're in the CPT area?

Give Mosports Performance aka MPD a call too.
I recently had their Stage 1 package done and I am smiling all the way.
Car really feels much better through the rev range and economy DEFINITELY improved.

Their Stage 1 included decat + egr delete. I also opted for the swirl flap removal as a preventative measure.
Plus Tariq is a leka oke to deal with. Very welcoming and knowledgeable.

When I was new to the BMW world and didn't quite know all the vendors and service providers yet, ATM Chiptuning did both the stage1 and stage2 tunes on my previous car. I never got anything but great service from them. They didn't blink an eye to spend time on the car until them and I were 100% satisfied with the results. I drove the car for 3 years with the tune on and never had a day's problem. Today I would probably visit Xcede for a tune if I was looking to do that, as people like Juvan from Xcede has also only ever been good to me and never blinked an eye to chat to me and I like supporting forum advertisers and they know what they are doing.

Why don't you ask Xcede directly? They have someone that does their fabrication for them so it will be bets for you to check with them directly.

I used ATM to install some hardware on my vehicle recently. I've seen good and bad feedback about these guys on the forum and thought I'd share my experience. I met these guys by coincidence months ago when I bought my 437m wheels from another private seller who had them stored at their premises temporarily.

They were professional and knowledgeable. I had good service although sometimes I felt there is room for improvement on the communication front. Their team also took me through the process of loading maps through MHD and gave me some good advice.

My only gripe is that their labour rate is parity to that of BMW...
