We inquired about the local distribution of the item (to save import costs) and we found that Cape Union Mart is a distributor of a simillar product for LED LENSER for R199.00. Not the same product but similar in looks.

So I put them to the test:

Side by side.
The spot on the left is Rennzport & Cape Union Mart on the right.

Rennzport on the wall. For this pic, I used the same (Rennzport) batteries in both torches.

Cape Union Mart. A bigger circle but not as bright. For this pic, I used the same (Rennzport) batteries in both torches.

Used the Rennzport batteries in the Cape Union flashlight for this pic (below) and you can see an improvement:

The decision is up to you but the Rennzport Flashlight was more stable and outshone the Cape Union Mart flashlight.

We wont be able to sell the Rennzport/BMS flashlight for less than R230. Then we still need to charge you to post it from Cape Town to wherever you are. If the exchange rate improves then the cost will be lower as well.

the quality of the construction looks about the same but damn the light output is very different... i think your price is most definitely worth it...

can you post a pic of it next to the normal lighter? im a bit worried it might not fit under the lid in the e46

i think all cars should have a touch for emergency's at night... and this one ensures that when you need it there will be battery life

examples of where this would be useful:

should you break down or have an accident at night you can wave it at oncoming traffic to avoid secondary accidents while the tow truck comes if your hazards not be visible or working...

should you hit something on the highway at night (this happened to me) you can easily inspect for damage and decide if its safe to continue or get a tow...

there are plenty instances like this where this torch could help alot...

Hi Guys

Took some quick photo's. Crap quality I'm sorry. It was in my Polo. The torch gets this nice blue glow when you put it in the sigaret lighter to show that it charges. It sticks out a little, so as can be seen in the pics, the console lid just doesn't wanna close, but that doesn't bother me.
