AR DP's, and the new resonated AR DP's

I see most people are using AR DP's on x35's.
I read up a bit on e90post, and seems some guys are complaining about a raspy sound.
I had an AUDI 3.2 which I had decatted, and I hated every minute after that, because of the raspy sound.

I might soon go for SW and AR DP's, but I don't want to regret it afterwards because of a raspy exhaust note.

Firstly, those who have AR DP's, how do you find the exhaust note?

Secondly, anyone have any experience/input to share regarding the resonated DP's.

They are more expensive than the normal high flow DP's, so I need info before spending that much money.

I have AR downpipes and they do make the car sound a little different but nothing to worry about! Mine is coupled to the ac exhaust and it got this great howl to it in the lower rpms.

There really isn't a big difference between AR and local made dp's except for the price difference of about R2500. I'd go local and save a lot of money and have support that's actually in the country if something isn't good! Speak to Rennzport, they got a good product and spend the rest of your cash on a intake so you can hear your turbo's spool!!

Dp rock and its def one of the best mods to do on a X35!!!

We can provide the DPs. There wont be any rasp just a deep throaty sound and that addictive howl as the rpms pick up. Ours is the same specs as AR. Took a couple of months to get it the way we wanted it but it works. We have some 335s in the Cape currently running with it. We do prefer to fit the pipes ourselves to ensure proper fitment. If you in Gauteng then we suggest Xede and if you in KZN, Rennzport has an installer and contact there.
