Anyone taken there car to Budler Motorsport?

My bud drives a 318i E46 2001 with 300k on the clock and has been battling with an intermediate flat spot for almost a year.He sent his car into BMW, they could not find the fault, he sent to a few other places and this was his last try and these guys managed to fix it. They never released his vehicle until they found the fault, took a week, but she is running better than before. He is very happy with the results.

I am very happy with the level of service i got, and yes, they are well priced too!!:rollsmile:

Well to make a long story short..

When my water pump decided to die on me i phoned budler after i phoned the dealers for a price on the waterpump.

So budler tells me waterpump is over 7k and he will be asking 2 500 for fitment. So i tell the guy you are 2k more expensive than the dealers for the pump. So he tells me nope he got prices this morning.

I turn around and tell him that i just spoke to the dealers and vat inclusive amount for the pump is 5 500..

He says he will phone me back and puts the phone down.. An hour odd and no call. So i phone him back to find out what's happening as i need the pump fitted etc. so he tells me 10k. Again i said dude your pricing is a bit high for this and is it now 4500 for fitment.. Again he tells me the pump from the dealers is 7k.. so i said i take it you didn't phone to find out.

Will this bastard tell me in the following words. you have no damn clue what you talking about, the pump is 7k from the dealers and you have no bloody idea and you talking shit about the price of the pump.

So my answer to him was take your pump, your garage + you shit attitude and shove it up your ass cause you will not see my car. I then put the phone down in his ear as he did with me the first time.

I went to the dealers, bought the pump spent 2 hours and fitted the thing myself. To date i had no issues with my car at all and did around 12k km after that so i would say there won't be any issues

Just some feedback from my brother in law, the idiot with the Tiburon, he took hi car there, he says he got a 20%gain in power and fuel consumption is 7.1L per 100km . this is on a V6 2.7l engine,

LOL sorry man, but well done on fitting it yourself, No one treats your car as special as you do. I also like to do everything myself, as soon as someone does anything on my car I take it home open everything clean it and put all the parts back myself. only parts I know of and that I can work on, wont touch something I have no clue abt,

Budler are awesome.

Went there yesterday to pick up some stuff. saw he was stripping an e46 M3 engine.

I need a new TPS sensor, seeing as my old one is fried and I am currently using Burgy's one at the moment. I need to get a new one as Burgy's Turbo'd M3 is almost finished. Was going to get one from BMW but when I saw the price I almost fainted.

Long story short, asked Boetie how much for the TPS sensor and he said I could have it for free.

WAS LIKE WHAT?

I bought my exhaust cam and rockers from him last year, he still remembers and said its cool. Awesome guy.

PS. His 7.49 second Car is a beast. Go check the size of the Turbo on that thing. WOW.
