They seem to be reasonable priced on Ebay - not sure what duties and shipping will cost though.

I've been toying around with the idea of having one imported for my e36

from what i can gather its 14% import R150 admin and another R85 for something els i may be mistaken though i have been watching the ebay ads for a month now ... o plus i know of a few people who had to collect the item at cape town with proof of payment etc and i live in gauteng and has a consumption of 8.7km/l not worth the trip for me so im first lookin for local businesses to support last resort will be ebay but thanx anyway man glad to see im not alone

thanx alot ill call them tomorrow for the prices i got for new soft top replacements i can actually take a look at some secondhand hardtops for a few bucks more

thats something to keep in mind looks good as well thanx alot

The hardtop makes a huge difference to the car, almost feels as if you in a sedan, no wind noise also imo makes the car look alot better. If you are thinking about getting one, make sure your car has the brackets on the inside were the roof mounts, otherwise you need to buy a kit from the dealers which costs +/- R5000.00. Hope this helps.
