Hi guys.

New to the forum. (Awesome)

I wanna get this car. The current owner has it for the past 2 months, and wants to trade it for my bakkie. He needs it for work. Not sure if it's :bs:
I 've always wanted one. Really good condition to the eye. Drives great. Has mods though, Dastek chip he says.
Please if anyone knows the car or previous owner etc, it would be a great help.

Bought a E34 BMW 540i a while ago that had an intermitent fault on the computer. Gave me nightmares, cause it would go into transmission program every now and then. When it drove it was awesome, just had a computer problem that neither a private Mechanic or BMW could find.

Any info would be great.

Cheers,

Current Owner has it for 2 months and all of a sudden wants to trade it.

Body looks clean but notice the grill is painted red, rear diffuser is painted white and it got a single pipe exhaust, 325i's came with double

Hi, thanks for the response.

The grille has red/ maroon vynil on it. Can be removed. Maybe it's his I dea of customising :slap: :hammerhead: Bit of a Ricer there. And there's the Autostyle stickers on the side. :thumb: :nono:
Diffuser can be changed. Stickers can be removed. Springs can be changed. I'm not too concerned about the cosmetics, hence my interest still.
I kind of like a bit of a project. The exhaust, I know is supposed to be a twin pipe. That's one of the 1st thing I noticed, but everything else is 325i. Especially under the bonnet. Checked nicely. Had my 1993 325i road test from car magazine with me and did some research on the net as well.

Just I wish I knew a little more on the car. Looks stock, but definitely isn't! This BM really goes well. Revs off the rev counter!
So not sure if it's the Dastek chip etc...

looks like a rice rocket to me.

I would steer clear of this car.

look at them stickers on the fender. I know that these sort of cosmetic changes dont really tell alot about the owner, but in my experience I have found that people who do that to their cars like to drive them hard and fast. dont kak me out. Its just my experience.

also, everything else said by doomsdaya.

I would not get it... the rev limiter has been removed so it has been revved to crap... and there will most lightly be alot of wear and tear on the whole car because it will have been driven hard...

if you still interested in it you should take the vin to bmw and they can pull the history of the car so you can see if it is a 325i... it will also tell you a bit about the car... well before this clown got hold of it anyway...

I'm glad you walking away from that Taro :thumb:

Rather take a 328i, more power, torque and better trim specs :thumb:
