so now maybe the naysayers can understand why those with remapped 330d's tell such outrageous race tales.. (remapped 330d's put out close to 190kw on the flywheel..)

:roflol:

Correction...
Mapped 330ds push out 190kw+ at the wheels....e90

I see e46 330d's with 150 000km's and higher. Looks like peopple hold on to them for longer.
Low mileage 330d's are available like chicken teeth.

I hope they'll bring out the F3x Coupe in a Diesel here in SA. If I stick to a coupe, then I'll move to the C Class Coupe if BMW doesn't bring a coupe diesel, or move to the X5...

Would be interested in getting an F30 330d or even the 335d should they materialize :thumb:

Looks like the 330d at least:
You can subscribe on BMW's .co.za web page for any news about it.

Reviving a not too old thread I hope,
Looks like they are not equipped with manual Gearboxes according to the latest price list from www.bmw.co.za.

Starting price is R496 500 for the standard model. :argh:

Yep 500k not spec'd for F30 330d (Not MSport)

But then again a midly spec'd F30 320i will be in the region of 450k(MSport)

F30 335d will not be coming to SA from what I was told.

F30 330d just does not do justice like a E90 330d IMO. The F30 330d looks the part but I feel its the weight of the car and possibly the styling that makes it feel likes its not going. The F30 320i/d are proving to be more popular and more in demand as opposed to its bigger brothers.

Is wikipedia accurate on this?

330d (2005-2008) 170kw 500nm
330d (200:cool: 180kw 520nm

If so the F30 330d is going to be even more awesome:

190kw 560nm

I saw a F30 330d today in Sandton auto service department, didnt have time to take pics but it just looked awesome! Would love to own one soon

Something I noticed was that it has exhaust pipes like the E90 330i, they did not bend down like the e90 diesels

The F30 320d doesn't have an exhaust that bends down either, I guess they're all straight now. UK Spec E90s had straight tips, don't know why they were bent for SA.

I have been closely following developments on the F30 330d.

Don't bother with the alert feature on bmw.co.za, it was bmw's idea of a joke.

The f30 330d can now be ordered I have heard, yet amazingly many dealerships do not know this.

Also, according to other bmw forums abroad, bmw will not be making an f30 335d, although some rumors suggest that we could see a 340d or something like that, although that seems a weak rumor at best.

Nonetheless, I would appreciate it,if any of you guys could enquire at your nearest stealership about expected due date and pricing and keep us posted, because we all know there's pricing on the .pdf file on bmw.co.za and then there's pricing when you walk in. The 2 are seldom the same.
